The remaining events for the 2023/2024 legal year are set out below. The 2024/2025 events will be published in August/September 2024. Make sure to sign up to our mailing list for notifications of all events. 

Spring Breakfast Seminar (Hybrid) – Tuesday 11 June 2024 at 8.30am

This year we will be hosting our spring seminar as a hybrid breakfast event to enable those who find evening commitments difficult for whatever reason. We intend to make this a regular feature in our calendar in addition to our usual series of evening educational and networking events over drinks and nibbles – so please give us your feedback on this set-up and how it can be improved going forward.

Our hybrid seminar will be held on Tuesday 11 June at 8.30am at 39 Essex Chambers (as well as online) and will cover consultation judicial review challenges (including the recent cases of National Council for Civil Liberties, Eveleigh and CU), with a particular focus on how junior solicitors and barristers alike can bring value to bringing or defending consultation challenges. Our fantastic speakers will be the knowledgeable Emily Wilsdon and Katherine Barnes, both of 39 Essex Chambers, and Louis Biggs of Hogan Lovells and the session will be chaired by Scarlett Milligan, also of 39 Essex Chambers.

Annual Blackstone’s Summer YPLG BBQ – 10 July 2024
